This Privacy Policy explains how Resty collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Resty mobile application and related digital content. Resty helps you log sleep, review reports, and use optional wellness and relaxation features.
Scope and age requirement
Resty is offered only to users who are at least 18 years old. By using Resty, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used Resty or submitted information, contact us at the email below and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Information we may process
The categories below depend on the features you use:
- Sleep and wellness data: Bedtime, wake time, time in bed, sleep duration, quality ratings, optional notes, morning mood, dream journal entries, pre-sleep routine logs, and report or trend data derived from your entries.
- Profile information: Display name, username, profile photo you select, date of birth used for age confirmation, sleep goals, and account preferences.
- App usage on your device: Theme choices, achievement progress, virtual coin balance, daily check-in status, task completion, challenge progress, free-trial counters, unlocked content, and Discover playback history stored for your convenience.
- Authentication data: If you sign in, we process account identifiers and session information needed to keep you logged in on that device, including identifiers provided by platform sign-in services where available.
- Support messages: If you contact us by email, we process the information you send, such as your email address, message text, device model, and app version, to respond to your request.
In-App Purchases
This app offers optional in-app purchase services, including membership subscriptions, virtual coins, and other digital content.
All payments are completed by the Apple App Store. We do not obtain your bank card, credit card, or other payment account information.
We only receive necessary purchase information returned by the store, such as purchase status, order identifiers (not full payment details), and subscription validity periods. We use this information to verify your purchase eligibility, unlock membership benefits, and restore purchase records.
We do not use your purchase information for advertising or marketing, or sell it to third parties.
How we use information
- Operate Resty features, including sleep logging, reports, trends, Discover content, coins, themes, and membership benefits.
- Confirm eligibility under our 18+ requirement and maintain your profile on your device.
- Deliver, validate, and restore in-app purchases and subscriptions using store-provided records.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse of digital purchases, and fix errors.
- Answer support requests and communicate important service or policy updates.
Local storage and offline use
Resty is designed so that most sleep records, settings, coins, and usage history remain on your device. This supports offline use and keeps your logs under your control on that device. Signing out generally leaves local sleep history on the device unless you remove it. Deleting your account profile removes sign-in profile data while local logs may remain until you delete them, clear app storage, or uninstall Resty.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited information only in these circumstances:
- App Store: Apple processes payments, receipts, renewals, refunds, and related compliance under its own privacy policy.
- Sign-in providers: If you use a platform sign-in option, that provider processes authentication under its own terms and privacy notice.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, regulation, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the service.
- Business transfer: If Resty or its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, information may transfer subject to protections consistent with this policy.
Wellness and AI-related outputs
Resty may show optional insights, tips, trend summaries, or reference-style wellness indicators based on data you log. These outputs are for general wellness and self-tracking only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they may be estimated or incomplete. Do not rely on them for clinical decisions.
Your choices
- Edit sleep logs, profile fields, and many settings directly in the app.
- Sign out or delete your account profile through in-app account controls.
- Uninstall Resty or clear app data to remove information stored locally on that device, subject to your operating system and any backups you keep.
- Manage subscriptions and purchase history through your Apple account.
- Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control, subject to applicable law and technical limits.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until you change or remove it, sign out, delete your profile, clear storage, or uninstall the app. App stores may retain transaction records under their own schedules. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.
Security
We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate for a consumer mobile application, including reliance on platform security for sign-in and purchases. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, passcodes, and store account credentials.
International use
Resty may be used in different countries. Your information may be processed on your device and through app stores or service providers located outside your home country, subject to their applicable rules.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
